Type RCB
Designed to provide the most economical service on conveyors and elevators handling pine wood chips where resistance to terpenes is required. Also re3commended for moderate to high abrasion service handling whole g4rains such as where, kernel Soybeans, milo, etc., in high capacity storage elevators where wearing qualities and along life are required.
Oil Tolerant Above ground Type OTA
An economical cover recommended for use with above ground coal conveyors where moderate amounts of oil are present and MSHA fire resistant properties are not required. Not recommended for high concentrates of diesel fuel ore fuel oil. A special low temperature version is also available where very low temperatures are encountered.
Fire resistant service
Federal Belting is a special version of Federal Belting with covers, carcass fabric and breaker strips that are fire resistant it is designed for service in coal, potash, salt trona and other underground mining where fi4re resistant belting is mandatory. It is also used above ground in coal preparation plants, coal fire steam plants and other applications where fire resistance is required.
All Federal Belting meets the fire resistance standards of the United States Department of Labor. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and bears the acceptance designation: Fire resistant 28-5. MineHaul is available in two different cover styles
Standard (SBR)
Federal Belting has a specially molded top cover designed to vonvey wet, slumping material such as slurries, wet cement, wet pulp etc. Up steeper inclines than those possible with conventional smooth top belts. In addition , the cover design allows weather retention or drainage of liquid during transit by varying the conveyor slope angle of the troghing idler concentrator rolls.
